GREGORY WHITE

I completed theory training in 1994 at Unitec in Auckland and work experience area in 1997, where I received my New Zealand Certificate In Architectural Draughting (NZCAD) on completion.

Throughout my years I have gained work experience in various following fields:
1. Interior Design.
2. Shop-fitting.
3. Structural Precast.
4. Commercial office and residential apartment fit-outs.
5. Schools – Ministry Of Education.
6. Residential new builds & alterations.

After working for over twenty years for other companies, Alison and I joined forces together to form Design House NZ.

I have excelled in all these various fields working in and the one major dominator in all, is the detailing. Good detailing in any project is a must and avoids any hidden surprises during the building consent approval and construction phases.

I live in Waimauku, Northwest Auckland with my wife & 2 children. My hobbies include fishing, tramping and mountain biking.

ALISON NICHOLAS

I have a passionate interest in building design, fostered from a family tradition steeped in the building industry. Growing up being exposed to construction and design across the spectrum of domestic housing, from simple to high-end multi-million-dollar homes. These early experiences fomented an appreciation of ascetics, function, and construction value that underpins my design ethos.

Delivering stylish design developed from your vision taking them from concept to reality. I work to create visuals that convey your aspirations, bringing to life your ideas. Functionally sympathetic to the building’s environmental considerations, whether it is locality, existing structure, or authority compliance. Collaborating through the design considerations of your outcomes, material choices, construction standards, and building methods. These visuals give you a sense of the space to refine before a is hammer swung, optimising your design whilst looking for the “best bang for the buck”.
